Patty Dukes is a Hip-Hop Artist from the South Bronx. Determined to put her mark on the world, and do it all on her own terms. An Afro-Latina who grew up in the home of Hip-Hop, The South Bronx. She discovered how to use Music, Art and Culture as a tool for change. Hip-Hop became her daily routine and only escape when things got tough at home.. Destined to be an emcee. In 2005 PattyDukes joined forces with Reph and together created a Hip-Hop group called, Circa ’95. Together they are redefining the role of Latinos in Hip-Hop and breaking barriers every step of the way. Circa ’95 released the debut album “Free Lunch” available now. Patty was recently seen on cable TV’s HBO Latino, as well as on-stage in the role of Nancy in Danny Hoch’s “Till the Break of Dawn”, produced by the NYC Hip-Hop Theater Festival and The Culture Project. A recipient of the BRIO Award (The Bronx Recognizes It’s Own). Patty is the Co-Founder of the Ladies Love Project - Artist Market and also sits on the Board of The Bronx Music Heritage Center. Patty practices Bikram yoga, eats vegan meals and encourages wellness activities in her community. Patty Dukes is currently working on the next Circa ’95 project.
